Shrek the Musical

The Broadway Production of Shrek the Musical is currently touring the States and came to Orlando for a few days. The Housing Programs office organised a bus trip downtown to the Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre (yes that is the name, doubt it is named after the ex NSW Premier though!) I arranged a shift swap so that I could go along and just loved it!
The story line is basically the same as the first movie but the music, songs and sets were amazingly good.
They had this massive dragon puppet that needed 3 people to opperate and move it around the stage.

The best character by far was Lord Faarquard, who was played by a guy on his knees most of the show. Very clever costuming gave him the appearence of being really short and his dance routines were absolutely hilarious!

The whole show was very entertaining and if it comes to Australia I totally reccommend going to see it!

Have a Magical Day and Watch Your Step!
